The Division of Neuroscience focuses on neuroinflammation, brain immune surveillance, microglia, adaptive immunity in the aging brain, and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, including immunotherapeutic approaches.<br /><br />In Q&A, panelists discussed how NIA sets priorities, barriers to progress in aging and dementia research, the promise of AI/machine learning, and support for at-risk investigators. The session closed with an invitation to reach out to NIA program staff and watch for future workshops and RFAs.
