These BG-ADCs enhanced SNAP-CAR killing in vitro and in vivo, worked against drug-resistant tumor cells, and did not appear toxic to the T cells. They also developed a direct payload-recognition CAR that binds DM1/DM4, which similarly boosted tumor killing and overcame resistance. Overall, the work suggests ADCs can serve as effective CAR T adapters and may improve anti-tumor responses.
